I taught for 22 years at a local comprehensive. I taught Science but my main role was managing provision for children with Special Needs across the school. I also spent some years working as a Special Needs Education Officer for Coventry City Council.

By 2001, after tremendous health gains, I had qualified in Bowen (ECBS) & Reflexology (IFR).

In 2009 I started training in The Emmett Technique. I love the immediate effectiveness of this technique and have done a great deal of training with Ross Emmett himself. Ross is the Emmett Technique! I use his technique extensively on its own as well as alongside the Bowen and Reflexology.

I am a recognized tutor of the EMM-TECH Short Course and run these courses regularly in the Midlands area.

In November 2011 Ross Emmett asked me to become a full instructor. I feel extremely privileged to have been asked to teach such a wonderful, continually developing technique. Teaching & learning Ross's work is just so exhilarating.

I have treated victims of war in Bosnia with the charity Healing Hands Network.
